The aims
"When I grow up, I want to become a glass master" is the project that collects the Abate Zanetti Glass School initiatives turning to children of the primary and secondary schools.
The aim is to encourage a creative approach with the glass universe with particular attention to the peculiarities of Murano culture production.
The Abate Zanetti Glass School teaching masters will follow students in a practical experience that will allow them to explore the structural and formal possibilities of glass matter.
The studios
The project lasts three hours and consists in didactic demonstrations the may focus on the fusing technique, lampworking technique and hotshop glassblowing, held by expert masters of the School, through a creative approach.
Starting from an agreed theme, students will assemble some pieces of pre-worked glass with the aim of creating a little glass handiwork.
The workshop includes then a hotshop glassworking demonstration by a glass master who will focus on the physical characteristics of the matter in a playing way, by emphasizing the peculiarities of viscosity, crystallization, etc.
Both project and creating steps will be assisted by the tutors of the School accordingly with teachers.
The offer is:
